is there some reasons i get a bunch of crazy letters and numbers where like the dates of the posts should any response will be greatly appreciated

I just figured this out myself.
1. Go to your profile
2. Find the "Date Format" line.
3. Change it to something more readable.

The format you see when logged out is:

I prefer a more complex approach:

D, M j, Y G:i

Or you can read the guide and cobble together your own format.

I like the “simplified ISO 8601”

“c”, what basically does the same, is available since PHP5, but it is too long for me
